Kennesaw State University is always seeking to establish formal strategic relationships to serve students better as they travel along their educational journey. This is why Kennesaw State University has identified itself as an Achieve Atlanta College Partner. The KSU/Achieve Atlanta program is a collaborative effort of implementing and evaluating the persistence and completion of Achieve Atlanta Scholars as they seek to earn their undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University.
Being an Achieve Atlanta Scholar can be summed up in 3 words.
Achieve Atlanta Scholars believe in their ability to write their own stories—taking on life after high school with confidence, focus, and persistence. Achieve Atlanta’s staff and partners have that same belief in you and are backing it up with consistent support.
Achieve Atlanta Scholars expect excellence—from themselves and those around them. By doing this, you and your fellow Scholars create a culture that produces the results you want to see.
As an Achieve Atlanta Scholar, achievement starts with advocating for yourself and never being afraid to ask for help when you need it. It means fully embracing the path ahead and responding to challenges with a can-do attitude. Our mission is to encourage, inspire, and put every Scholar in a position to achieve great things.
As an Achieve Atlanta Scholar, you are part of a growing community of APS alumni who have bold visions for their lives and have chosen higher education as their next step in making those visions real.
Professor Theodore Bullard from The Department of First-Year and Transition Studies is designated as the Campus Coordinating Adviser for the Achieve Atlanta program at KSU.
