Housing

Summer 2017 Housing for the Summer Start Program is now closed.

There is an optional residential component for the Summer Start program.

Housing for the Summer Start program is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Summer Start students who secure campus housing for the summer have the advantage of retaining campus housing through the following academic year.

Living on campus your first year improves your likelihood for success in college and beyond. Students who live on campus will tell you – and research supports – that the benefits really add up. Living on campus makes it easier to meet people, helps you transition from high school to college, and can actually help you achieve academic success and graduate on time.

Program participants will need to indicate their desire to be a residential student when they submit their Summer Start Program Intent to Participate Agreement. These agreements will be sent to students via their KSU student email accounts once they have been accepted to the program.

Move in is typically scheduled for the first week in June, prior to the start of class.
