Strategic Outreach Initiatives

University College believes it is important to establish formal strategic relationships to serve students as they travel along their educational journey. Our Strategic Outreach & Diversity Initiatives unit provides a structural connection for a variety of signature programs—Achieve Atlanta, Coca-Cola Scholars, Thrive and REACH Ga. Programming is in place to enrich the academic success, improve retention, and strengthen engagement of targeted student populations. Building on University College’s mission of promoting diversity and inclusion as a vital part of student success, key populations served include first-generation students, veterans, nontraditional students, under-served groups, and students from rural/urban locations.
