University College Coronavirus Information

The University System of Georgia (USG) has decided that all 26 institutions, including Kennesaw State, will move to online instruction for all courses for the remainder of the semester with extremely limited exceptions.

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, all classes will be delivered remotely for students at both campuses. We will maintain our spring break from March 30 through April 3.

Students are not allowed to return to campus until they receive permission from their institution, which will be forthcoming soon.

University College Advising Services

During the online learning period of the spring 2020 semester, the academic advisors of University College will still be supporting students. Specific information will be emailed to each student through their Kennesaw State email. Academic advisors will be especially responsive to email and electronic communication during this time. Students are encouraged to email their advisors with all advising related questions and concerns.

Leadership & Integrative Studies

Due to the ongoing and fluid situation caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the physical offices of Leadership & Integrative Studies are currently closed. If you need to reach the department, please contact 470-578-6207, email (Integrative Studies) or (Leadership Studies). First-Year and Transition Studies

The physical offices of the Department of First-Year and Transition Studies are currently closed. Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality

The in-person offices of Culinary Sustainability & Hospitality are closed during the COVID-19 situation. The department is working on providing refunds to all that have purchased tickets to pop-up events that were scheduled to take place throughout the remainder of the spring semester. ESL Center

During the suspension of face-to-face classes, the faculty and staff at the ESL Center will be available to offer online tutoring to KSU international students Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please email or for assistance.

SMART Center

With the move to online coursework for the foreseeable future, the SMART Center will be providing online tutoring and resources through D2L. While we will remain aa drop-in service, registration is required to access the online tutoring area. More registration information will be available in the coming days.

Tutors will be available from 9:00am - 7:00pm Monday - Thursday and 1:00pm - 6:00pm on Sundays. Information on specific course times will be listed on the Tutor Schedule page as it becomes available.

Supplemental Instruction

During the suspension of face-to-face classes at KSU, SI Leaders will continue providing academic support through a variety of methods including online SI sessions, online group discussions, video chats and meetings, and handouts.
