Focus Areas for Undeclared Students

You should discuss your focus area or major with your advisor prior to orientation so you understand how your choices will impact your class schedule and your projected graduation timeline. For a very small number of degree programs, you may need to take summer or additional courses beyond the average class load to graduate within a four-year time-frame.

If you are planning to study Architecture, you must choose the major prior to starting classes at KSU or attending orientation in order to graduate within the program time-frame. Your advisor will help you determine if your focus area choice will include any additional considerations as you plan for graduation.
